Defence Team Leaders Holiday Message
Hi, I’m Jody Thomas, Deputy Minister of National Defence. I’m here today to wish you Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a Happy New Year. For those of you serving abroad, a very special hello to you, thank you for what you’re doing for our country. And for your families here in Canada supporting you, know we’re all thinking of you. I wish you all the safest and happiest of holiday seasons. Thank you very much. Hello! I’m Brigadier-General Rob Delaney, the Canadian Forces Provost Marshal. As we approach the holiday season, I want to wish you and your families on behalf of all the military police, both in Canada and deployed, the very best of the holiday season. I wanted to take two minutes to wish you all a very Merry Christmas. Merry Christmas to everyone. I hope you have a chance to relax, spend time with your loved ones over the holidays, and get some rest. Thanks very much for all the work you have done throughout the year. It continues to be a tremendous privilege for staff at ADM(S&T) to support the Canadian Armed Forces and DND, and we wish you a tremendous holiday period with your family, friends, and colleagues. Happy Holidays! To all our men and women in uniform who do the great business of recruiting, training, and supporting Canadian Armed Forces members, and especially to those members and military personnel command deployed on operations around the world, I want to thank you for your dedication and service to Canada. I hope that you will have the chance to spend time with your families over the Christmas break and your extended families, and that you’ll have a chance to rest up.
