You don’t get it. That truck’s been with me
through everything. Everything what? A million 3 a.m. trips to
7-11? You have no idea what can happen at 7-11 in
the middle of the night. I don’t even want to know. Yeah, that’s because after 27 you turned 60. It’s called being an adult, Derik. Whatever. Thanks for the lift, man. I think my truck is hooped. It’s about time you replaced that thing. It’s an embarrassment. You know what’s an embarrassment? That shirt’s
an embarrassment. This shirt? This shirt is awesome. Who told you that? Your mom? No. You know what’s not awesome? I left my harness back in my truck. You want to go back and get it? No, I’m good. We gotta get this done. You sure? Yeah, let’s get to it. Thanks for the lift, man. I think that truck is hooped. It’s about time you replaced that thing. It’s an embarrassment. You know what’s an embarrassment? That shirt’s
an embarrassment. This shirt? This shirt is awesome! You know what’s not awesome? I left my harness back in my truck. You want to go back and get it? Yeah, I should. All right, help me unload first though. Derik! You OK? Yeah…Yeah. I’ll get you some help. Make the right choice.

So disappointed, wanted to see him smashed into the truck!

ive never seen anyone on a roof wearing a harness, didnt know they existed

great video, the roof harness is such an important tool. its just not worth getting killed over not having one.

WorkSafe BC has some great training videos.  I am impressed by your technique for delivering the message.  A NYC metro viewer.

Watching something like this, it happens all the time. Sometimes its best to be safe and have all the right gear for the job.

    I loved the beginning lol

Great video to show our employees on fall protection

Who the hell shingles without roof jacks and boards or planks on them? THAT is more important than some stupid ass harness and rope that is in your way all the time. I'm glad I worked in a time that wasn't so proliferated with all this damn safety shit shoved up my ass.

  9. Johnnie Knight says:

This is clearly edited. It didn’t show him smash into that piece of crap dodge on the first part, and didn’t show them go back for the harness and both killed by a drunk driver in another piece of crap dodge. Please show the whole video next time. Thanks.

Another thing is missing, where is the rescue team and rescue kit? A rescue team must lower him to the ground in 5 minutes

  11. J1.92c says:

You still have only about 5 mins to get him off the harness because he can still die. Cutting off his blood circulation.

  12. FulvioGa says:

The safety rope was too long, it should be short enough to keep you from falling off the roof at all.

  13. Marcos Mota says:

Rope is too long, you want to stay on the roof to avoid g-forces, getting hit or cut on the edge, or tangling a limb on the rope and snapping a bodily joint.

something like this would be a wonderful idea for my roof, I have a slope of something crazy like 50 degrees, which could be crazier but it makes me nervous to be on my own roof sometimes

Driving around in a Dodge, he’d be better off falling!
