Hello. I am Orkun. I will talk about
ski-snowboard injuries and precautions. When we talk about ski and board,
many people think of the risks and dangers. We mentioned this was not the
case in previous videos. We made a children video and talked about it. We
mentioned proactive gear video. This is not like this but sometimes myths
could be accepted. This is the case. But, is it zero? No. You can get
injured when you are riding a bike or playing football. It is possible in
ski and snowboard. But, there are also precautions. I will not only
talk about gears and equipment. There are some other precautions. I will
try to give a short introduction. Ski and snowboard is a
sport like football, basketball, volleyball. I
am constantly emphasizing that we need to do the sports with the correct
equipment suitable for that sport. When you are skiing and
snowboarding, we need to use some different
equipment of ski and some other equipment of snowboard.
I will not go in details, we have a
separate video about it. Here, I will mostly talk about this.
People often make this mistake when
they are skiing and snowboarding. Generally,
these sports are made with the family, especially
skiing, people are trying to do them without
doing sports all year. They are going to a
ski-centre, wear their ski, or board and go up
to mountains with a body that has not done sports
or stretched enough. We are talking about a cold environment.
Muscles and joints are extra cold. They are going up. Then
suddenly, after 5 minutes, one of their tendon ruptures. I have seen it.
My father experienced it. The leg tendon just suddenly
ruptured without any reason. To avoid such events or they are simply falling
and since muscles or fibres or ligament are not stretched, injury can occur in simple
falls. I am not talking about breaking a bone or something. It
is extremely rare. If you are skiing and
snowboarding, you can ask how many people broke their bones during
skiing. It is a myth. This is not happening. I already mentioned. The number of people who
broke their leg or ankle during football can be 100 times higher than ski.
But this does not come into mind
when we say football. The most common injuries
are often the ones I have just mentioned. They
are related with not stretching and warming
the muscles before and after. I am talking about
small injuries. But what happens. This will end our
ski and board holiday at that moment. You become frustrated.
To avoid this, as I said, I am not
talking about equipment. I am assuming that you
have your helmet, goggle, ankle protection glove
if you are snowboarding, and protection shorts
to protect your hip and back. If you are skiing,
you do not need hip and back protection. Your
helmet and goggle will be enough. I am assuming
you have these. I am constantly saying this. If
you are going on a skiing vacation, board vacation,
or mountain vacation in general, you need to
increase your condition 1 or 2 weeks before you
go on the vacation as well as stretching and
warming your muscles. How can you do it? You can
run on treadmill, go out for a walk. But the
important thing is when you go there, you should
not use a body that has not done sports for 3
or 4 months or maybe 1 year. Imagine, you are
doing sport for 6 or 7 hours. We are talking about
two extremes. If you prepare your body and
your joints, and stretch before you go out for
skiing and snowboarding, – actually, you do not see
this much, people stretch before playing football
but not before skiing – as it is cold and your
muscles are cold, will prevent such injuries.

    4 ay sonra kayak tatiline gidicem günlük hangi egzersizleri yapmalıyız standart kaç dadika nr yapmalıyız.. bayanım boyum ve kilom düşük. okula ve diger yerlere hep arabayla gitigim için sporcu bi yapım yok hatta spora gittigimde bile 15 dakika içinde nefes nefese kalıp ölüyorum. 4 ay i,çinde snowboarda hazır olmak istiyorum
